NBMG Digital Collections

NBMG Digital Collections is an online portal providing access to the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology’s growing collection of digital materials. The site brings together maps, photographs, reports, publications, and geoscience data documenting Nevada’s geology, mineral resources, and natural landscape, along with related historical and cultural materials housed at the Great Basin Science Sample and Records Library in Reno, Nevada.

Content on the site is organized into Featured Collections on the homepage, and individual items can also be discovered using the search tools. Portions of the scanning and digitization work are supported by funding from the USGS National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program, helping preserve and expand access to Nevada’s geoscience legacy.
